Hi- I’m Maddie.
I am the one behind the camera, fixing flyaways, and often saying some off-the-wall request or comment.
I am really glad you are here.
Photography for me wasn’t a big, polished production. It started by accident, thanks to some cows. I am not even trying to crack a joke—that is quite literally how it all began. Just a camera, myself, and a girl trying to graduate college. No crazy dream, fancy gear, or plan to start a photography business.
Somehow, some way, all of that turned into all of this.
It has never been just about the photos for me. It is about the people. It is about a moment that, on average, would just pass by—but I choose to hold onto it. That has become my favorite part: the storytelling.
Storytelling often includes a lot of in-between moments. Never perfectly posed, but somehow the image is still perfect. Pictures where someone might be laughing a little too hard, catching a glimpse of their daughter before giving her away, or sharing a simple hand hold. The real, raw, unplanned. A blink-and-you-miss-it moment. I search for those moments.
So when someone may say, “I am awkward” or “I don’t know what I am doing,” there is no need to worry. You are exactly the client I want. There is no need to be perfect or to know how to pose. I want my clients to just show up as they are—unapologetically them. That’s where the best photos come from—every single time.
I’ll guide you the whole time—but in a way that feels easy, not forced or awkward. Before you even realize it, you’ll forget the camera is there. My goal is for it to not feel like a photoshoot, but rather a moment you get to be fully present in.
So whether you’re celebrating something big or just want to remember this season of your life exactly as it is… I’d truly love to be the one to capture it.
This could be the start of something good.
